Job summary

A well-known UK charity is seeking an Interim Information Security Manager to provide hands-on technical support during a peak period. We’re supporting a well-known UK charity in their search for an Interim Information Security Manager to provide hands-on technical support and relieve pressure on the security function during a busy period.

• Location: Fully remote (occasional travel if required)
• Duration: 3–6 months
• Start Date: ASAP
• Days: 3–5 days per week (flexible)

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for SOC escalations, security incidents, and investigations.
• Investigate and resolve security alerts, threats, and vulnerabilities using tools such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Darktrace.
• Review and respond to security questionnaires from suppliers and vendors.
• Support the small internal security team with day-to-day operational tasks, providing guidance and unblocking issues.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to maintain a secure environment.
• Provide input into processes, documentation, and security best practices.

• Experience reviewing security questionnaires and identifying risk in supplier responses.
