Job description

Are you an immediately available IT Security Manager who can support Honda's global security team on IT security governance and operational initiatives?

This initial 6-month contract will be based at Bracknell, Berkshire, with occasional travel to Europe.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate IT security operational activities with providers and IT staff.
2. Coordinate and perform threat and vulnerability management activities, identify risks, recommend treatment plans, and communicate information.
3. Coordinate and perform security incident management activities, including detection, response, and reporting.
4. Monitor and report on technical and operational IT security controls.

KPI’s:

1. High compliance with Information Security regulations, standards, and internal policies.
2. Low number of Information Security incidents per severity.
3. Low average response time for Information Security incidents per severity.
4. High accuracy in threat and vulnerability analysis.
5. Effective remediation plans and controls for vulnerabilities.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Required:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and/or significant experience in IT and IT security, preferably in an international environment.
• Preferably holds an information security professional certification such as CISMP.
• Good knowledge of information security technologies such as:
• Access control
• Vulnerability management
• Data loss prevention
• Web security
• Anti-malware controls
• IDS/IPS
• IT networks

Familiarity with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the U.S. Sarbanes-Oxley Act, HIPAA, the EU Privacy Directive, and J-SOX. The working model is 3 days onsite per week, and the role is inside IR35.
