Your role

Responsible for monitoring, reacting, and reporting on information security events, supporting security operations within the core business lines in the U.K., Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Provide governance and support for regulatory and industry compliance, facilitate audits, and serve as a trusted security advisor.

What you'll be doing

Role and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership.
  • Ensure cybersecurity practices are integrated into business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with security leadership on policies, incident response, application security, and infrastructure.
  • Engage in security projects and support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Promote a strong security culture across the organization.
  • Advise on enterprise security recommendations and stay updated on threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Identify and address threats and vulnerabilities impacting the business.
  • Build relationships with business units to incorporate security-by-design controls.
  • Stay informed about legal, regulatory, and standards impacts.
  • Support compliance with PCI, SOX, GDPR, ISO, and other standards.
  • Lead monitoring efforts for security incidents using SIEMs, vulnerability scans, firewalls, etc.
  • Assist in developing and managing security risk programs and assessments.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of technical information security experience, including vulnerability assessment, incident response, forensics, and audits.
  • At least 5 years working with business leadership and managing complex projects.
  • Knowledge of security technologies like file integrity monitoring, firewalls, server hardening, encryption, cloud security, etc.
  • At least 3 years supporting security compliance and audits such as PCI DSS, SOX, GDPR.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or Security and relevant certifications (CISSP, CRISC, CISA, etc.).

Additional Notes

Ideal candidates are self-starters, capable of managing multiple initiatives, experienced with security tools and regulatory frameworks, and possess strong communication skills.
