We’re recruiting for two Information Governance Adviser roles in our friendly and supportive Information Management Service at Gloucestershire County Council — one permanent and one fixed-term until 31st March 2027.
You’ll be part of a team that helps colleagues across the council to use information responsibly, safely and effectively. Whether it’s supporting a new project, helping services understand their data responsibilities, or promoting good practice, your work will have a real impact on how we serve the people of Gloucestershire.
This is a career-graded role (Grade 8–9), offering development and progression opportunities as you grow in confidence and capability. You’ll be support ed by experienced colleagues and encouraged to bring your ideas and energy to the team.

We’re looking for someone who has experience working in information management — whether that’s in data protection, records management, compliance, or a related field. But that’s not the only thing we’re looking for.
