Rolls-Royce offers an excellent opportunity for an Information Assurance Specialist to join our Cyber Security, Risk and Compliance team. In this role, you will provide Information Assurance through the application of policy, standards, and best practices to support the IT product teams. You will also work with other IA specialists to ensure a unified approach to cybersecurity issues is developed and documented.

Job Description

• Assist in developing and defining Information Security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to an agreed framework (ISO27000).
• Act as the Cyber Security representative on large projects, providing advice, guidance, and approvals for cybersecurity implementations.
• Review compliance with information security policies and standards, assess configurations, and recommend actions.
• Provide authoritative guidance on security controls, legislative or regulatory requirements.
• Advise users on risk management, promote awareness, and support wider cybersecurity initiatives.
• Identify, report, and manage cybersecurity risks and concessions.
• Maintain specific security controls as per Rolls-Royce policies and local risk assessments to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems.

Who we're looking for

• Good knowledge of information systems practices and applications, with understanding of Rolls-Royce management processes and information security principles.
• Understanding of IT security compliance practices and pragmatic standards adherence.
• Effective communication skills and ability to influence in formal settings.
• Relevant qualifications demonstrating broad IT security knowledge.
• Experience or awareness of cloud technologies in an enterprise environment.
• Willingness to learn and promote compliance with Product Safety, Data Privacy, and Export Control.
