About the Role

This position involves conducting comprehensive penetration tests on web and cloud environments, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing mitigation strategies. You will collaborate with various teams to enhance our security posture.

Responsibilities

• Perform security defect mitigation testing and document results to support remediation efforts.
• Analyze incidents, abnormal usage, and attack patterns; tune security telemetry for risk identification, including misuse, fraud, and theft of services.
• Recommend improvements to tools, processes, and applications to optimize security, identifying gaps and proposing solutions.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate cybersecurity tasks.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security practices and policies.
• Conduct manual and automated penetration testing of software and systems, including creating detailed security assessment reports.
• Identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation and detection strategies.

Requirements

• Experience with secure coding, application security testing tools (SAST, DAST), and API security testing.
• Understanding of cloud, networking, web content delivery, filesystem operation, architecture, patching, and security.
• Ability to identify threats, conduct risk assessments, and use security intelligence tools.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SANS, GIAC, CCH, or related credentials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages and automation tools.
• Ability to scope, conduct, report, and remediate manual and automated testing.
