The Information & Cyber Security Officer is responsible for supporting the organisation to ensure that patient and organisational data is handled securely and lawfully, in line with NHS England requirements and statutory frameworks. The postholder will deliver training and assist with audits and risk assessments to promote a culture of accountability and data security across the organisation. The officer supports the effective delivery of services and programmes within the Integrated Care Board (ICB). Working under the management of the IG Senior Manager, the postholder is responsible for identifying how their activities, tasks and responsibilities are delivered to time, quality, and performance standards. This role focuses on coordinating day-to-day operations, managing small projects or workstreams, and contributing to improvement work that enhances quality, efficiency, and patient experience that may be beyond own area of work.
