Job summary

Oxford Immunocore seeks a Scientist in Infectious Diseases to contribute to cross-functional efforts applying the ImmTAX platform and other modalities to develop therapies for chronic infections, including HIV, HBV, and EBV-related diseases.

The role spans target discovery to clinical development with opportunities to present data at meetings and collaborate across Research and other departments. A PhD in a relevant field with bench experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, virology, immunology, or related field; 0–2 years experience.
• Alternatively, a BSc or MSc with significant bench experience in relevant scientific areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute experiments to support project goals; work includes molecular and cellular techniques.
• Analyse data, interpret results and make recommendations to advance the pipeline.
• Present results at internal meetings and engage with cross-functional teams.
