Job summary

Oxford Immunocore is seeking a Scientist for Infectious Diseases to advance the ImmTAX and related platform programs. The role involves planning, executing and interpreting experiments in a cross-functional team with a focus on early discovery and translation.

The candidate should hold a PhD in a relevant field with 0–2 years of experience, or a strong MSc/BSc with substantial bench work. The work environment is collaborative, matrixed, and lab-based at our site in the UK.

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, virology, immunology, or related discipline with 0–2 years of related experience.
• Alternatively, a BSc or MSc with significant work experience in relevant scientific areas.
• Bench-based laboratory experience with proficiency in key techniques listed below.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute experiments to support project goals within defined timeframes.
• Execute experiments using molecular and cellular techniques to address key questions and enable progression of the program.
• Analyse data, interpret results, and make recommendations; present findings at internal meetings.
