Job summary

BCUHB in Wales is seeking an experienced Infection Prevention Business Project Manager to lead complex IPC projects, driving patient safety, quality improvement and organisational performance.

You will plan, coordinate and deliver IPC programmes across clinical, operational and managerial teams, monitor outcomes and risks, and develop new working models to strengthen infection prevention across services. Welsh language desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent knowledge.
• ILM Management level 4 or equivalent.
• Current knowledge of project management and its application.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of complex IPC projects and programmes.
• Analyse performance, capacity, and demand data to inform decision-making and service improvements.
• Develop and implement new models of working to enhance infection prevention practices.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated service delivery.
• Contribute to policy development and ensure effective implementation across services.
• Monitor project outcomes, risks, and benefits, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and resources.
• Support service improvement initiatives.
