Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales seeks an experienced Infection Prevention Business and Project Manager to lead high-impact IPC programmes, aligning with safety, quality and organisational priorities. The role shapes service development and drives innovation within Infection Prevention.

The post holder will manage complex IPC projects across clinical, operational and managerial teams, ensuring governance, delivery and reporting to support patient safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent of knowledge.
• ILM Management level 4 or equivalent.
• Current knowledge of project management and its application.
• Evidence of managing and leading complex projects.
• Evidence of dealing with complex data and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, delivery and evaluation of IPC projects and programmes.
• Analyse performance, capacity and demand data to inform decisions.
• Develop and implement new models of working to enhance IPC practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support service delivery.
• Contribute to policy development and ensure effective implementation.
• Monitor outcomes, risks and benefits within timelines and resources.
• Support service improvement initiatives.
