Job description

The Community Infection Prevention and Control Team is seeking a team player to join on a secondment / fixed-term basis to support care homes, extra care, domiciliary care, supported living, and non-CQC registered adult social care services such as day centres.

If you have experience working within the community as an IPC link professional, this is an excellent opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills within an established team.

Shortlisted applicants will undertake a literacy and numeracy assessment as part of the interview process. Successful candidates will be interviewed on the same day.

Full driving licence essential to role and we recommend an informal visit to meet the team.

The role focuses on improving infection prevention and control standards by undertaking a scoping phase, sharing best practices, and providing training. The project aims to enhance IPC knowledge across different settings and offer bespoke support packages.
