Community Integrated Care is recruiting for an Advanced Support Worker, with various shift patters, you will need to be fully flexible.

  • We are group of amazing individuals living in a scheme of Bungalows. We range in age from 20-60 years old.
  • The scheme can cater for individuals with needs related to learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and physical disabilities.

What Is Important To Us

  • We lead very independent and active lives in our local community. This includes volunteering and going to college.
  • We have a range of hobbies and interests including drama/theatre, art, cooking, gaming, collecting, swimming and going to the gym and horse riding.
  • We enjoy socialising with each other, especially in the summer.
  • We have lots of goals we would like to achieve. These include learning new skills, getting jobs, learning to drive and having relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 in Social Care and strong experience in mental health, autism and sensory communication, and physical health, and challenging behavior.

If you do not have a qualification, you will need to have experience in social care.

You will know how to connect with people and be passionate about supporting people to live independently. You will also be a brilliant mentor and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues.

We will develop your talents with a range of specialist training, including the opportunity to learn Positive Behaviour Support methods, Makaton and the Picture Exchange System.

During recruitment you will meet the people we support in their home. This will allow you to see their wonderful personalities first-hand and fully understand the level of support that they require.
