Job summary

Dropmore Infant School invites a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. You will support learning across early years/KS1, help pupils achieve goals, and work closely with teachers to implement planned activities in a safe, encouraging environment.

The role focuses on supporting curriculum delivery, supervising pupils, and contributing to a positive school ethos. Term-time hours and a supportive team are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting curriculum in primary environments.
• Ability to deliver structured learning activities in line with plans.
• Comfort with using ICT to aid teaching and pupil independence.
• Capable of giving teachers timely feedback on pupil progress.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support pupils including those with special needs.
• Assist with planning and delivering learning activities.
• Monitor pupil responses and record progress as directed.
• Provide regular feedback to teachers on achievement and issues.
• Promote positive behaviour and safety in line with policy.
• Assist with administrative tasks and equipment preparation.
