Industries Installation / Maintenance Technician

Purpose of the Role

As a permanent Industries Installation / Maintenance Technician, you will join our Warrington bitumen manufacturing plant. You will support the Engineering department with maintenance and repair of electrical/control equipment and ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies.

Main Responsibilities

You will examine structures and equipment, report defects, perform legislative checks, supervise servicing and breakdowns, maintain electrical equipment, assemble systems, troubleshoot production breakdowns, modify plant, calibrate instrumentation, and use problem-solving techniques. You will work with equipment such as pedestal drills, grinders, welding tools, and assist with mechanical repairs as needed.

Ideal Candidate

Successful candidates will have experience in a similar role or a Level 3 (or higher) technical qualification. You should be a team player with strong problem-solving skills and an understanding of PLC and controlled equipment.
