Job summary

Metis Search partners with a Global Investment bank in London to recruit into their Industrials team. The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and hands-on ownership of high-profile transactions from day one.

The candidate will lead or support sell-side and buy-side M&A within the Industrials space, building robust financial models and compelling client materials for strategic advisory and execution workstreams.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2.5 - 5 years experience in M&A within Industrials.
• Generalists or adjacent sector experience also considered.
• Strong technical foundation in financial modelling and valuation.
• Demonstrated transaction experience with the ability to run workstreams independently.
• Commercially minded, resourceful, and comfortable working in small teams.
• Clear and confident communicator with strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support the execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions within the Healthcare space.
• Produce financial models and valuations, including DCF, LBO, and comparable approaches.
• Prepare high-quality client presentations, information memoranda, and marketing materials.
• Develop relationships with management teams, advisers, and investors to support origination efforts.
• Manage or conduct financial and commercial due diligence processes, working closely with external advisers to assess risks and value drivers.
• Work on strategic advisory and transaction execution & managing workstreams.
