Job summary

Veolia Group, a global leader in environmental services, seeks an Industrial Water Treatment Scientist for water testing and reporting across customer sites in the West Yorkshire region. The role focuses on testing, reporting, and advising on water treatment under a predefined commercial agreement.

Responsibilities include safe on-site work, Legionella sampling, and developing service plans, with travel within the assigned area and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Science or Engineering background
• Experience in water treatment
• Availability to travel within assigned area, some overnight stops if necessary
• Valid driving licence
• Currently eligible to work in the UK
• Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with EHS standards
• Complete Legionella sampling and water testing at customer sites
• Engage in QEHS documentation and systems
• Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly/annual water service plans
• Provide guidance on chemical treatment and technical concepts to customers
• Prepare and submit Consultant Service Reports (CSRs)
• Raise issues with Operations Leader and Commercial teams as needed
• Participate in customer review meetings with an operational/technical perspective
• Schedule and plan site visits effectively
