About Us:

An opportunity has arisen in an expanding team responsible for validating the external supply chain to ensure the successful delivery of parts supporting Development programmes in preparation for full-rate Production.

This role requires experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Project delivery.

The Role:

• Manage a portfolio of suppliers daily and oversee the project Industrial Validation Plan.
• Assess and validate supply chain and supplier capabilities.
• Conduct Industrial Validation activities such as Process FMEAs, Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) assessments, and Production Readiness Reviews.
• Identify and mitigate manufacturing and supply chain risks with improvement and mitigation plans.
• Manage and validate manufacturing capability transfer from in-house to suppliers.
• Collaborate with and support a multi-functional team.

Candidate Profile:

• Manufacturing Engineering professional with strong process knowledge and project management understanding.
• Experience in manufacturing or supplier quality in Aerospace or Defence is desirable.
• Support suppliers and customers to develop robust manufacturing systems and control plans for quality, delivery, and cost.
• Experience in NPI and manufacturing capability transfer is a plus.
• Proficient in Validation tools like Process FMEAs, Measurement System Analysis, Process Mapping, MRL assessments, and Production Readiness Reviews.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for root cause analysis and improvement plans.
• Strong communication skills to work closely with Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.
