Join our dynamic FPGA Prototyping verification team, a key part of Arm’s Solutions Engineering group! We are a dedicated group of engineers providing a robust platform to build and test software on Arm’s brand-new subsystems and System-on-Chips (SoCs).

Job Overview

Our mission is to accelerate development by offering a versatile, high-performance prototyping environment that enables seamless software integration and validation. These solutions target market segments including mobile, server, IoT, automotive, and more.

As a team member, your work will involve verifying SoC RTL designs modified for FPGA, developing and maintaining verification testbenches, integrating VIPs, writing C test cases, reusing internal test cases, creating test plans, and developing automation tools using scripting languages like Python, Perl, and Shell.

Responsibilities

1. Implement and execute verification strategies for detailed testing of assigned Subsystem or SoC modules.
2. Collaborate with design engineers, architects, and verification engineers to understand and plan verification activities.
3. Report verification progress, issues, and results effectively using verbal and written communication skills.
4. Automate test cases and regression suites to enhance verification efficiency and coverage.

Required Skills and Experience

1. Strong understanding of SoC verification using C test cases, hardware description, and verification languages such as SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL.
2. Knowledge of computer architecture, bus protocols (e.g., AXI, AHB), and peripherals.
3. Experience with scripting languages like Tcl, Python, or others.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

1. Experience with ARM-based designs and/or ARM system architectures.
2. Familiarity with ARM debugger and trace features (e.g., ARM DS, DSTREAM).
3. Experience with verification methodologies such as UVM/OVM.
4. Knowledge of PCIe and CXL is a plus.
