Job summary

Centrica is seeking an experienced Industrial Technology Systems Engineer to support its gas infrastructure assets, including offshore sites. You will manage software/hardware, apply engineering standards, and guide changes within a major energy portfolio.

The role requires travel to offshore and onshore assets, with a mix of office and home working from Hull. Suitable candidates have a background in I&E systems and safety practices within the oil and gas sector.

Qualifications

Industrial technology systems engineering experience in oil and gas or Major Accident Hazard environments.
Knowledge of DeltaV, ICSS and PAC8000 safety systems preferred; qualifications supported if needed.
Windows OS, networking, domains/workgroups and firewalls knowledge.
TuV Functional Safety certification desired.
HNC level or higher in S, C & I Engineering or Computing/IT.

Responsibilities

Provide direct systems support to Centrica Gas Infrastructure assets with travel to onshore and offshore sites.
Act as administrator for Asset Industrial Technology systems.
Maintain hardware and software to ensure reliability and integrity of systems.
Ensure standards are applied to assets and projects.
Contribute to changes and modifications through formal processes and risk management.
