About the Role

This is a remote-first position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere in South Africa. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing industrial systems and processes, leveraging data analytics, simulation, and automation technologies to drive efficiency and innovation for our clients. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement industrial systems, including automation, data acquisition, and control systems.
• Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for optimization.
• Develop simulation models to test and validate system designs and operational strategies.
• Collaborate virtually with clients and project teams to define system requirements and scope.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in industrial systems engineering, automation, or a related domain.
• Proficiency in system design, simulation tools (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic), and modeling techniques.
• Experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial networks is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach.
• Excellent virtual communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines in a remote setting.
