PRS has engaged with a key client and an innovative specialist within Cooling Technologies & Refrigeration Solutions supplied into industries such as Commercial, Food, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals & Industrial. We are seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to hire on a full-time, permanent basis.

We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial & Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer to cover various customer locations throughout the East Midlands & Lincolnshire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively deliver engineering tasks including maintenance and service visits to food factories, RDCs, warehouses on equipment such as Recip, Scroll, Screw compressors including Ammonia, Co2 & HFC/HFO Installations.
• Perform service and reactive breakdown cover during normal hours, supporting out-of-hours works via standby rota.
• Support internal and client functions to meet customer and business objectives.
• Ensure engineering tasks comply with commercial awareness and business system standards.
• Maintain quality of engineering tasks in support of contracts, following all practices.
• Conform to industry best practices and legislative guidelines.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration engineering sector and customer expectations.
• Relevant technical competencies and certificates (e.g., 2079 Refrigerant handling, ACRIB, Ammonia).
• Completed recognised training or apprenticeship in Industrial Refrigeration.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance & service on medium to large industrial applications.
• Experience with large central plant diagnosis and fault-finding, including compressors like Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, Mycom, etc.
