Job summary

TeamJobs is seeking experienced Industrial Refrigeration Engineers for field-based roles across the Manchester and Leeds areas. The role involves servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on industrial refrigeration systems at customer sites, working with leading refrigeration customers.

Experience in industrial refrigeration is preferred, but strong commercial refrigeration background and solid refrigeration fundamentals are also welcome.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain industrial refrigeration systems and related equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Complete planned and reactive maintenance work.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high engineering standard.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Provide technical information and guidance to customers on site.
• Identify opportunities to improve plant reliability, safety and efficiency.
• Complete service reports and relevant documentation.
• Collaborate with the wider engineering team.
• Continue developing technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, components and technologies.

Job description

We are recruiting for experienced Industrial Refrigeration Engineers to join a growing engineering team, with opportunities available across the Manchester and Leeds areas.

This is a field-based role working on customer sites, carrying out the service, maintenance, and fault-finding of industrial refrigeration systems. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and be involved with some of the UK’s largest refrigeration customers.

Industrial refrigeration experience is preferred, but engineers with a strong commercial refrigeration background and a good understanding of refrigeration principles are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain industrial refrigeration systems and associated equipment
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
