Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager or Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in industrial construction projects to oversee commercial and contractual management from pre-construction to final account.

You will manage cost plans, CVRs, contracts, and procurement, lead negotiations with clients and subcontractors, and coordinate with project teams to protect profitability and contractual compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in a Commercial Manager or Quantity Surveyor role.
• Proven experience delivering industrial construction projects.
• Experience administering JCT and/or NEC contracts.
• Excellent cost management and forecasting skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all commercial aspects of industrial construction projects.
• Prepare, review, and administer contracts and subcontracts.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, valuations, variations, and forecasts.
• Prepare monthly CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations).
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, design consultants and clients.
• Maintain accurate project records and commercial documentation.
• Assist with dispute resolution and claims management where required.
