Job summary

Koin Limited in Dorset is seeking a Production Machine Operator to operate specialist manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently. You will set up and monitor presses, perform quality checks, and maintain records, with hands-on training provided to work with additional equipment.

The role requires prior experience with industrial machinery and a practical, mechanically-minded approach, with a commitment to safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement within a growing manufacturing operation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating industrial machinery in manufacturing/production.
• Strong understanding of safe machine operation and procedures.
• Mechanically minded and comfortable with industrial equipment.
• Ability to set up machines, adjust parameters and perform changeovers.
• Good attention to detail and focus on quality.
• Able to follow detailed production instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up and safely operate industrial production machinery.
• Operate hydraulic or mechanical press machinery.
• Monitor machinery and production during runs.
• Carry out machine adjustments and changeovers as required.
• Perform regular quality checks against specifications.
• Identify and report production or machinery issues promptly.
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and fault finding where appropriate.
• Follow health, safety, and production procedures at all times.
• Maintain production records and keep the workspace clean and safe.
• Support the wider Production team to meet daily targets.
