Job summary

Morrisons Estates Management Team offers a dynamic 12-month industrial placement at our Head Office in Bradford. You’ll help maintain and enhance one of the UK’s largest corporate estates, supporting thousands of colleagues and millions of customers daily.

As a student in Real Estate, you’ll dig into asset management, lease negotiations, finance oversight, and operational data management. The role emphasizes teamwork, stakeholder engagement, and practical projects that shape the property

Qualifications

• Currently studying a Real Estate or closely related degree discipline.
• Strong logical thinker with intermediate Excel and a sharp attention to detail.
• A natural team player with the confidence to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all business levels.
• Experience in data management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Asset Management: Dive into initiatives and projects that protect and enhance the value our 800+ commercial properties (including supermarkets, distribution centres, and manufacturing sites).
• Commercial Negotiation: Get practical experience with significant commercial processes like lease renewals and rent reviews.
• Financial Oversight: Partner with our Property Finance team to manage, track, and optimize millions in income and operational costs, including service charge budgeting and reconciliation.
• Operational Command: Oversee day-to-day property functions, ensuring the integrity of our critical lease event database and driving key ad-hoc property projects.
