Job summary

Northrop Grumman UK is offering a 12-month Industrial Placement Programme in Cheltenham for an Industrial Placement Project Manager. You will support project scheduling, budgeting and governance while learning from experienced PMs and contributing to defence technology projects with national significance.

Qualifications

Currently working towards a relevant degree or can demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills
Genuine interest in project management and willingness to learn
Strong analytical skills and ability to reason logically
Understanding of the project lifecycle and importance of meeting deadlines
Knowledge of business and financial concepts, tools and processes

Responsibilities

Support project scheduling, cost budgeting and estimating
Coordinate resources while learning to use project management tools
Maintain accurate project documentation and governance materials
Assist with identifying, recording and monitoring project risks
Track key performance indicators and project metrics
Support timely project reporting and stakeholder communications
