Job summary

Bentley offers an Industrial Placement stationed at Crewe, joining the Communications team. You will gain hands-on experience managing high-impact projects and developing strategies across corporate, internal, and DEIB communications while supporting sustainability initiatives.

You will lead projects, write press materials, coordinate events, and work with suppliers to produce compelling content. The role includes mentorship, a starting salary, and opportunities for development within Bentley's

Qualifications

• The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in Communications and Public Relations, Marketing, or Media.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for press materials and briefing documents.

Responsibilities

• Research, create and write press releases and briefing documents for PR projects.
• Lead content creation for internal and external communications and manage relationships with suppliers.
• Coordinate Bentley Comms events, talks and activities supporting internal communications.
• Ensure timely responses to journalists and media inquiries.
• Collaborate with Sustainability stakeholders and the Environmental Foundation.

About the role

As an Industrial Placement Student at Bentley, you will play a key part in Bentley’s journey to extraordinary vehicles for our customers. Based out of our state-of-the-art headquarters in Crewe, you will:

• Gain invaluable experience in managing high-impact projects,
• Develop a deep understanding of communications and PR,
• Lead your own projects in Corporate, Internal, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) and Sustainability Communications you will play a key role in driving our strategy and business.

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Researching, creating and writing press releases, press materials and briefing documents for product, corporate, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) and Sustainability PR projects,
• Being an active lead within corporate and sustainability comms generating content and storytelling for internal and external communication channels,Proactively working with suppliers e.g. photographers and designers to generate captivating content,
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to coordinate Bentley Comms events, talks and activities to support all internal communications,
• Ensuring all day-to-day processes are managed with timely and accurate responses e.g. responses to journalists on all Bentley topics,
• Working closely with the Bentley Environmental Foundation and other sustainability stakeholders across the business.

About the Department:

The Communications team is at the heart of the business, responsible for all of Bentley’s internal and external media content. This placement will allow you to work as part of this team and develop a thorough understanding of a busy press office. Important tasks include:

• Managing timely and accurate responses to journalists on all Bentley topics,
• Supporting on media visits to the Bentley Factory.

What we are looking for:

The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Communications and Public Relations, Marketing, or Media
