Jaguar TCS Racing is a leading force in electric motorsport, competing in Formula E. We offer a 12-month student placement within our Formula E R&D group starting September 2027.

You will work with skilled engineers and graduates, gaining hands-on experience in powertrain and real-time platform testing while contributing to faster, more reliable, and efficient racing cars. • Develop and execute structured test plans for powertrain, chassis, and other critical components.
• Learn about and assist with maintenance and upgrades for Real-Time Platforms.
• Utilize data acquisition systems and software to collect and interpret test results.
• Identify performance trends, inefficiencies, and areas for development.
• Work with R&D engineering team to present test results and recommendations to relevant parties
• Maintain documentation regarding test procedures and processes to enable the department to run safely and efficiently.

We operate a 12-month (September 2027 - August 2028) student placement programme within our Formula E R&D group. This is an exciting opportunity where you will work with highly skilled and experienced engineering professionals and graduates who you can learn and develop with - the more questions you ask the more you will gain from your experience. It is important to know that many of our industrial placements have been successful in obtaining graduate roles on completion of their degree.

What you will do
