Job summary

Jaguar TCS Racing invites undergraduates to join a 12-month placement in our Formula E R&D group. You will work with experienced engineers to develop skills in testing, data analysis and reporting, contributing to real projects that enhance performance and reliability.

Applicants should be enrolled in a relevant degree, be proactive and eager to learn. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an assessment; travel and accommodation arrangements are your responsibility.

We operate a 12-month (September 2027 - August 2028) student placement programme within our Formula E R&D group. This is an exciting opportunity where you will work with highly skilled and experienced engineering professionals and graduates who you can learn and develop with - the more questions you ask the more you will gain from your experience. It is important to know that many of our industrial placements have been successful in obtaining graduate roles on completion of their degree.

What you will do

• Develop and execute structured test plans for powertrain, chassis, and other critical components.Learn about & assist with maintenance & upgrades for our Real-Time Platforms
• Utilize data acquisition systems and software to collect and interpret test results.Identify performance trends, inefficiencies, and areas for development.
• Work with R&D engineering team to present test results and recommendations to relevant parties
• Maintain documentation regarding test procedures & processes to enable the department to run safely & efficiently.

Overall, you will contribute to make our car faster, more reliable and more efficient.
