Job summary

MEI Technical in Londonderry is seeking a Pipefitter for a full-time, on-site role. You will install, assemble, and maintain pipe systems for steam and industrial applications, following drawings, specs, and safety standards.

You will measure, cut, thread, bend, and fit pipes; welding support (TIG and general welding) may be required. Collaboration with supervisors and tradespeople is essential to meet project timelines while maintaining a clean, safe site.

Qualifications

Strong skills in pipe installation and pipefitting, including measuring, cutting, and assembling pipe systems.
Welding skills relevant to pipefitting work, including TIG welding.
Experience with steam systems or similar industrial piping applications.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Commitment to workplace safety and PPE use.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and maintain pipe systems for steam and industrial applications.
Measure, cut, thread, bend, and fit pipes to drawings and specifications.
Support welding activities as required for system installation or repair.
