Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a busy manufacturing facility in Yeadon, Leeds. The role concentrates on fault-finding, breakdown response and delivering planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of industrial equipment.

You will install and commission machinery, support continuous improvement and help minimise downtime. The position offers dayshift, a 38-hour week, and ongoing training within a stable, growing business.

Qualifications

• Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with planned, preventative and reactive maintenance in a fast-paced industrial factory.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Fault-finding and breakdown response for a range of industrial machinery.
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
• Install, commission and service equipment; support continuous improvement to minimise downtime.
• Repair and overhauls as required to maintain production capacity.
