Job summary
Mole Valley Farmers is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team at Huntworth Mill, responsible for mechanical maintenance across plant and equipment to keep feed production running safely.
You will diagnose faults, deliver planned maintenance, and support projects to improve efficiency and safety in a dusty, noisy heavy manufacturing environment.
The role offers training and development opportunities, a strong safety culture, and career progression within MVF.
Qualifications
- Heavy manufacturing or similar environments experience.
- Familiarity with conveying systems and pneumatic systems.
- Strong Health & Safety understanding.
- Good IT and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented.
- Able to work in dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environments with adjustments.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and repairing plant and mechanical equipment safely and efficiently.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs and routine servicing.
- Supporting planned maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reading and interpreting site drawings and project information.
- Collaborating with colleagues to solve problems and share knowledge.
- Promoting a strong safety culture and compliance with regulations.
