Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our manufacturing engineering team. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across production assets, aiming to maximise uptime and reliability while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work on a wide range of automated production equipment, with a strong electrical and controls bias complemented by mechanical maintenance skills.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical fault-finding capability in industrial settings.
• Experience with PLC-controlled machinery and automation systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical docs.
• Knowledge of safe isolation procedures and LOTO.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, controls, automation, and mechanical faults.
• Fault find with PLCs, HMIs, testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Support machine upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain CMMS records and participate in shift handovers.
