Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited in Belfast seeks an IoT & Instrumentation Engineer (Industrial) to join a growing engineering business on the Belfast Local Patch. The role covers sensor evaluation, installation, commissioning and on-site troubleshooting of industrial IoT hardware.

You will configure gateways and edge devices, diagnose sensor faults and data communication issues, and work closely with software developers to ensure data is transmitted and displayed correctly.

Qualifications

• Experience in instrumentation and industrial connectivity.
• Knowledge of sensors, IoT gateways and edge devices.
• Experience configuring sensors and diagnostic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, configure and commission sensors and instrumentation for industrial environments.
• Set up and support IoT gateways and edge devices.
• Diagnose sensor faults and data communication issues.
• Install and support equipment on customer sites.
• Collaborate with software developers.
