Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an IoT & Instrumentation Engineer (Industrial) in Belfast to configure, commission and support sensors and edge devices on customer sites. You will diagnose sensor faults, ensure reliable data transmission, and collaborate with software teams to integrate hardware with our software platform.

The role calls for hands-on experience with industrial sensors, IoT gateways and electronics, based in the Belfast area with 18th edition knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience as instrumentation or industrial connectivity specialist.
• Experience configuring and commissioning sensors.
• Experience with industrial IoT gateways and edge devices.
• Based in or around Belfast; electronics background; 18th edition.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, configure and commission sensors and instrumentation for industrial environments.
• Set up and support industrial IoT gateways and edge devices.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot sensor faults, connectivity issues and data communication problems.
• Install and support equipment on customer sites.
• Collaborate with software developers.
