Job summary

Wolviston Management Services is seeking a Groundsman to join a large industrial site in the UK. The role involves delivering a wide range of horticultural and maintenance activities with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary technical services team, carrying out seasonal duties such as winter gritting and routine grounds maintenance. Prior horticulture/grounds maintenance experience is required, with a proactive, team-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in horticulture, grounds maintenance, or a similar role.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
• Strong team player with a proactive approach.
• Good awareness of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all assigned tasks safely and efficiently, in line with SHEQ and business standards.
• Undertake planned repairs, preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
• Support installation works and general site maintenance.
• Seek technical or safety advice when required and stop work if conditions are unsafe.
