Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative in Evesham, Worcestershire. The role involves outdoor maintenance, with a salary of £26,000 and a 39-hour week on a rotating shift pattern. You will contribute to keeping outdoor spaces well-maintained and safe for use.

Responsibilities include grass cutting, hedge trimming and general grounds upkeep, with a focus on safety and compliance, and support for local Zero Carbon initiatives. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong safety awareness and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting, hedge trimming, leaf clearance and litter picking.
• Weed spraying and general planting, pruning and seeding.
• Light landscaping and tree-care duties.
• Setting out and maintaining sports pitches (grass, tarmac & synthetic).
• Equipment checks and safe operation of light plant and power tools.
• Erecting and dismantling equipment.
• Painting and basic repairs to outdoor equipment.
• Drainage works and general grounds upkeep.
