Job summary

WGM Engineering Ltd, part of the RSK Group, seeks an Electrician to join the Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) Services team on a permanent basis. The role covers the Central Belt across client sites, delivering installation, maintenance and pre-commission work at site locations in Scotland.

You will install, test and fault-find electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with RAMS, BS7671 and company safety rules, while collaborating with clients and subcontractors to ensure high-quality project

Qualifications

• Time-served electrical apprenticeship completed.
• SVQ Level 3 Electrical, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, and ECS card held.
• Experience in industrial/utility/site-based electrical installation, maintenance and testing.
• Knowledge of safe systems of work and RAMS.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, test and pre-commission electrical equipment across industrial sites.
• Fault-find and resolve electrical issues safely and to standard.
• Deliver electrical construction, compliance and control in line with regulations and client standards.
• Review RAMS and risk assessments; support design changes and mark-ups for as-built drawings.
• Work with colleagues, clients, subcontractors to deliver safe, high-quality projects.
