Job summary

WGM Engineering Ltd, part of the RSK Group, seeks an Industrial Electrician to join our Engineered Solutions team on a full-time, permanent basis in the Glasgow area. You will deliver planned and reactive electrical work on client sites, including safe isolation, installation, maintenance and testing of three-phase equipment.

The role offers significant overtime and a weekly on-call allowance, with on-call pay and travel time compensation. Training and RAMS support are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent with industrial experience.
• Experience in industrial electrical installation, maintenance or site services.
• Ability to safely isolate three-phase equipment and rotating plant.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of VSDs and commissioning experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely isolate, remove, install and maintain rotating equipment and three-phase equipment.
• Carry out fault-finding and assess equipment condition.
• Commission and test installed equipment; record results.
• Apply knowledge of VSDs to fault-finding and commissioning.
• Coordinate electrical and mixed-trade teams on site.
• Produce technical reports and RAMS-related documents.
