Job summary

MARCH is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Process Electrical team in Burton upon Trent. You’ll contribute to installation, testing, modification and commissioning of electrical systems across diverse customer sites, ensuring safe, efficient operation and compliance with food industry standards.

Working on new installations, upgrades and continuous improvement projects, you’ll read electrical drawings, select correct cabling and termination methods, and support site procedures to

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations required or equivalent qualification.
• Inspection and testing qualification preferred.
• Experience in food, beverage, FMCG or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience with project installations, shutdowns and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical installations in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical documents.
• Install containment systems, trunking, tray and cable ladders.
• Route, terminate and label cables for power, control and instrumentation.
• Install motors, control panels, distribution boards and other field devices.
• Perform fault-finding and testing to ensure safe operation.
