Job summary

Bridges - Trusted Intelligent Engineering Partner is recruiting an on-site Electrician for permanent, 40 hours per week across the South West London and Surrey regions, supporting SES Water projects. You will be paid hourly with overtime and travel time.

The role requires an ECS gold card, water/construction sector experience and City & Guilds trade qualifications. The position emphasizes safety, quality, mentoring of apprentices, and acting as an ambassador for Bridges while delivering safe,

Qualifications

• ECS gold card essential
• Experience in water/construction industry
• Industrial and/or panel wiring experience desirable
• Ability to manage own and others workload with minimal PM input
• City & Guilds trade qualification
• Fitness to work medical
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• To complete electrical installations per BS7671 and Bridges Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards
• Ensure adherence to all Health and Safety legislation and regulations
• Install items to highest standards per project quality plan and inspection/test plans
• Follow and promote STAR dynamic risk assessment; stop work if unsafe conditions arise
• Coach and mentor Electrical Improvers and Apprentices
• Promote Bridges' values with peers, staff, customers and clients
• Promote health and wellbeing among peers
• Act professionally and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting business goals and reputation
