RTL Group Ltd is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our water treatment site team. The role covers installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on electrical systems, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

A valid EUSR card is essential, along with ECS/CSCS and a NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation. Applicants should have experience on water or utility infrastructure projects and be able to work independently or as part of a team, reading electrical drawings and coordinating

Qualifications

• Requires ECS/CSCS card and essential EUSR card.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent is required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) proficiency required.
• Proven experience on water treatment or utility sites preferred.
• Strong health and safety practices are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair on water treatment equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
• Work on control panels, motors, pumps, and associated systems.
• Follow site safety procedures and industry standards.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to work on a water treatment site. This role involves installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on electrical systems within a highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate will hold a valid EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) card and have experience working on water or utility infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work on water treatment equipment
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently
• Work on control panels, motors, pumps, and associated systems
• Ensure all work is completed in line with site safety procedures and industry standards
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Liaise with site supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
• Maintain accurate records of work completed

Requirements

• Valid ECS/CSCS card
• EUSR card (essential)
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
• Proven experience working on water treatment or utility sites (preferred)
