Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group are supporting a leading heavy industrial electrical contractor to recruit a fully qualified, hands-on Industrial Electrician. You will deliver installation, testing and commissioning across high-risk process environments, including quarries, water treatment plants and factories.

Base salary offers £39,520–£43,680 with door-to-door pay and substantial overtime. The role includes a company van with fuel card, permanent employment, and opportunities for niche industrial

Qualifications

• ECS Gold Card valid and current.
• Level 3 Qualification: C&G Electrical Installation or equivalent apprenticeship.
• 18th Edition BS 7671 up to date.
• AM2 Electrotechnical Assessment of Competence completed.
• Full UK driving licence with clean record.
• Experience in heavy commercial or industrial wiring.

Responsibilities

• Industrial installations: heavy-duty containment, SWA cabling and tray work.
• Equipment hook-ups: wiring three-phase motors, pumps and heavy machinery.
• Control systems: working on electrical panels and industrial control gear.
• Site support: fault-finding, schematics reading and commissioning kit.
• Safety first: maintaining strict compliance in heavy process environments.

We are searching for a fully qualified, hands‑on Industrial Electrician to deliver installation, testing, and engineering projects across high‑risk process environments (Aggregates, Water, Utilities, and Infrastructure).

• Driving Licence: Full UK licence with clean record.

Highly Desirable (But Not Essential):

• City & Guilds 2391: Inspection & Testing (Massive bonus if you have this).
• Industrial Tickets: CompEx, MPQC / SPA Quarry Passport, IPAF, PASMA.
