Job summary

LondonEnergy Ltd in London is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment across North London sites, aiming for minimal downtime through a strong PPM program.

You will need an NVQ Level 3 or trade certificate, proven heavy-industry electrical experience, and familiarity with PLCs (Allen Bradley) and variable speed drives. The role includes nights and days, with on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Experience with preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Knowledge of electrical drawings and fault-finding.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient breakdown repair service.
• Implement PPM on Electrical and Instrumentation equipment.
• Carry out installation work to required standards.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Liaise with outside contractors for repairs/maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
• Work in shift patterns including nights and days.
• May be on call for emergencies.
