Job summary

Edge Staffing Limited is seeking an Industrial Door Technician to join a growing team in Washington, Tyne and Wear. The role involves dealing with clients, fault finding, and carrying out reactive repairs on industrial doors and operators.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of various door operators, experience installing, servicing, and repairing doors, and be a motivated, highly organised team player. A full UK driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deal with clients and provide service as needed.
• Fault find and complete reactive repairs on doors and operators.
• Knowledge of various industrial door operators.
• Install, service and repair industrial doors.
• Experience with automatic gates/barriers is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Work as part of a team and participate in on-call rota (approx. 1 in 9).

Edge Staffing has an exciting opportunity for a Industrial Door Technician to join our clients’ expanding, business working in Washington, Tyne and Wear.

The role of the Industrial Door Technician will involve:

• Dealing with Clients
• Able to fault find and complete reactive repairs
• Knowledge of various industrial door operators
• A history of installing, servicing, and repairing industrial doors
• Experience with working on automatic gates and barriers would be beneficial but not mandatory
• Working as part of a team
• Inclusion in manager call out rota (around 1 in 9)

The ideal applicant will be an Industrial Door Technician with:

• High levels of attention to detail
• Full UK driving license
• Motivated, highly organised, team player

What can you expect:

• An hourly rate of £19.00 - £21.00 depending on skill level
• A Monday to Friday schedule working 7.30 - 16.00 with an overtime rate outside of these hours
