Job summary

Symmetry Recruitment in Manchester is seeking an Industrial Door Engineer to install, service, repair, and maintain a wide range of industrial doors across the Manchester area and regional travel.

You will fault-find electrical and mechanical issues, deliver excellent on-site service, and join a shared call-out rota. CSCS, IPAF, PASMA certifications are desirable, with ongoing training and progression, and a company vehicle and fuel card provided.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, servicing, repairing and maintaining industrial doors and shutters.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• CSCS, IPAF and PASMA certifications are desirable.
• Commitment to high safety standards.

We are hiring an Industrial Door Engineer in Manchester!

Are you looking for a role with a highly supportive team, great pay, and excellent overtime opportunities? We are looking for a skilled Industrial Door Engineer based in or around the Manchester area (South / East Greater Manchester + regional travel)

What you’ll do:

• Install, service, repair, and maintain a wide variety of industrial doors, such as roller shutters, sectional doors, high-speed doors, and automatic gates.
• Fault-find and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing our brand on-site.
• Participate in a shared call-out rota to support our regional clients.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience working on industrial doors and shutters.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• CSCS Card, IPAF, and PASMA certifications (highly desirable).
• Industry qualifications such as DHF or ADSA are a plus.
• A great attitude and a commitment to high safety standards.
