Job summary

Stanair Industrial Door Services in Peterborough is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, repair and install industrial doors, loading bays and access equipment. The role offers a Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00 schedule with overtime as required, and is based in the Peterborough area.

Qualifications

• Good mechanical skills with fault diagnosis abilities.
• Able to work on own initiative with a flexible attitude.
• Customer-focused with good communication skills.
• Full UK Driving License is essential.
• Confident working at heights.
• Desirable: experience with industrial doors, welding, electrical qualification, IPAF/PASMA/CSCS cards.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repair and installation of industrial doors, loading bay and access equipment.
• Cover emergency call-out rota (1 week in 12) with standby and call-out payments.
• Work within a 30-mile radius where possible to support a good work/life balance.
• Standard hours are Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00, with overtime as required.
