JLB Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Industrial Door/Shutter Engineer with an electrical background to join our team in the United Kingdom. This role involves government sector projects and is supported by CHAS accreditation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a Roller Shutter Engineer, with a proven track record in servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Roller Shutter doors & Industrial doors.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
• Ability to work well in a small team or independently
• Full UK driving licence
• Successful security screening is required for this role
• Desirable qualifications: Certifications such as DHF, IPAF, CSCS/ECS, or a City & Guilds /NVQ in relevant disciplines.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is desirable

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, repair and fault diagnosis of industrial doors and related products.
• Travel to customer sites for on-site service and support.
• Occasional short-term projects away from home.
• Participate in a call-out rota (1 in 8 weeks) for emergency service.
