Job summary

Fusion People Ltd is recruiting for a Manufacturing Cleaner at a busy site in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. The role focuses on maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards in an industrial environment, with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

The position pays £12.85 per hour (PAYE) with overtime available. Hours are Monday to Thursday, 7:30am–5:00pm, and Friday 7:30am–12:30pm, with a temp-to-perm contract offering progression to permanent status.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• A good eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Willing to work the hours specified and undertake overtime when available

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining factory and manufacturing areas.
• Cleaning toilets, washrooms and changing facilities.
• Maintaining cleanliness in staff canteens and communal areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly.
• Ensuring all areas are kept clean, tidy and hygienic.
• Following health and safety procedures and cleaning guidelines.
• Using cleaning products and equipment safely.
